SHIPPING

Packing

Depending on the item being packed, there are several things that may need to be taken into consideration.

Please contact us before shipping any clock so we can be on the lookout for it. All clocks being shipped must have prior approval or they will not be accepted. We will contact you as soon as your package arrives.

  • Your clock is a delicate instrument and requires careful packing. Bubble wrap usually provides adequate protection, providing the proper amount is used. Make sure you allow enough room for some movement in the package (minimum 6″), so the wrap can do its job and absorb any shocks during transport. Always insure your clock appropriately! Pack any loose parts, pendulum, key, weights, etc., separately in a box, not inside the clock.
  • When available, we highly recommend using a professional packing service (UPS Store or FedEx-press) to prepare your clock for shipping. Many major carriers who offer this service have experience with delicate items and will stand behind their packaging job and assist you if there is any damage during shipment.

Security

Our shop is fully insured, alarmed, and has video surveillance.

Customers are responsible for shipping charges to and from our shop.

Once the clock leaves our premises, all liability is assumed by the shipper. If a clock arrives damaged, do not remove it from the carton. Keep all packing intact. Contact the shipping company and they will give you instructions on how to proceed.
